Visit Ibiza, Pou des Lleó in the North side of the island
September is almost finishing. After a rainy day from yesterday, the sun comes out again, but i love when is rainy day in Ibiza, because normally we do not have that much. I love the smell of the wet ground, summer storms and you just stay at home watching the rain and that is so relaxing for some of us and this happen usually when the summer is almost ending.
On our way to Pou des Lleó, this Ibizan man was in front of us, maybe he is on his way back at home. I just took him the photo because it’s the original people from Ibiza. This photograph shows us back to basic, how they actually live and they conserve everything since then.
What to do:
When we get in to Pou des Lleó, we were surprised because they where like just 2 restaurants near the cove and just one chiringuito. Beautifully surrounded by fishing huts, where you could lay down and have some bath because there is no sand where you could lay down with your towels.
If you enjoy doing sports like walking or cycling, also i recommend it to do that and you will be impressed of the Landscape of Pou Des Lleó.
The surroundings are so relaxed and rustic that you will feel hypnotised.
Where to eat:
We had a very good Paella lunch at the Salvadó Restaurant in front of the sea, it was so tasty and delicious accompanied with a great white wine.
The recipes what they put in the Paella was all fresh fish of the day and they just served it recently cooked and yes of course we wait for that like 30 min before they just served it but it was worth the wait 🙂
So, if you are planning to come in Ibiza someday, don’t forget to visit Pou des Lleó if you want to eat in a traditional restaurant, where mostly of the tourist are not informed.
